Mosaic Art
Mosaic is an art form dating back to the ancient world. Tesserae (the pieces used in mosaics) range from pebbles, marble, and even semi-precious stones to glass, tile, mirror, and found objects. Because every piece is cut and laid by hand one at a time, each creation is unique. Mosaics can be adhered to almost any solid surface, and with myriad techniques and materials, the possibilities are limitless.
